Health Care Panel at Jefferson at Foerderer Auditorium

Hi,Just wanted to let folks know that my medical student group at Jefferson is putting on a health care discussion panel that will take questions from whoever is in attendance. Panelists include among others Dr. Walter Tsou of PNHP and Dr. Theodore Christopher who is chair of the Philadelphia Medical Society and head of the emergency department at Jefferson.I invite everyone to come and participate in the discussion and to enjoy a free falafel dinner.Thanks,SamSee More

Sure, I agree we need Universal Health Care in America. However, we need to examine how the health care system is managed.. Close to 100,000 people die each year in hospitals due to medical errors.As a former employee at a famous hospital on Long Island - I have first-hand knowledge on how the care system works in America.The hospital I worked at had too much administrative waste. Philadelphia Sit In 10/30/09

When any American keeps quiet about the travesties met by patients and their families when claim denials take place, that unto itself is a travesty. There is no reason for it. Human life has been threatened and lost at the hands of insurers. Many loved ones are gone forever. Please get involved, Philadelphians. There are victims of insurer fraud in our community who look to you and to your ideas. They need your help. They need your voice.
